Dear Parents & Students,
Thanks to everyone for your support of the Goldenwest 5K fun run held on Mar. 23rd. This was a great way to support the school and spend some quality time with your families. I appreciate all the hard work our PTA did to organize this event for Club Heights.
It is time to start thinking about Core Testing for grades 3-6. A brochure with testing tips and other important information will be sent home during the coming weeks. Please make sure your child is at school on testing days.
I encourage all families to continue to build time in their schedule to read together. All children, including your older children, love to listen to stories. After reading to your child or listening to them read, talk about what you read. This will help to increase your child’s reading comprehension.
Thank you for your continued support and please be aware of the following important dates in April:
April 3 Kindergarten round-up (2:00-3:30 pm)
April 12 Educational needs letters due
April 22- 26 Science Core testing begins
April 29- May 17 Language Arts & Math Core Testing
