How to find us!
We are located up behind the Riverdale Shopko. Turn
East on 40th St. off of Riverdale Road. Take the first
right, Palmer Drive. This will take you up the hill to the school. The Center is housed in a portable classroom.
We look forward to having you visit us.

Pre-registration is mandatory!
30 – 40 minutes of fun and learning for preschool children ages 3 - 5 with a parent/guardian. (Activities, music, & stories) Thursdays, 10:30 A.M. (tentative)
September 24, October 8, 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12, 19, December 3, 10. Free!

Adult English as a Second Language
Come for an enjoyable opportunity to learn English. This
class is ongoing through May 2010. Enrollment fee is $10.00. Book fee - $20.00. Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday evenings from 6 :00 – 8:00.
Stop by the Center during these hours to register.

Parent to Parent: Family Training on ADHD
This is a seven session class that goes into detail on the many facets of AD/HD. All classes are taught by experienced professionals with a background in AD/HD. Classes run from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. except the first night, which starts fifteen minutes earlier. Tuesdays, Sept. 15 through Oct. 27 at Weber High School in room 31. The $60 ($50 for members of CHADD) charge for the series covers the cost of the materials you will receive. Limited scholarships are available based on financial need. be Tuesdays, Jan 12 – Feb. 23 at Mound Fort Jr. High and Thursdays, Feb. 11 – March 25 at Roy High School.

Fact vs. Myth on AD/HD
A free, single session class on AD/HD that addresses many of the issues that concern people when they find that they, or their child, has AD/HD, It is held in the Education Center at the McKay Dee Hospital (South end of the 1st floor) Room 1 from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. Presenter: Edward Williams MEd.

Parenting Success
Come learn basic skills and techniques to help you parent with success. Instruction will include: Family Dynamics, Parenting Styles, Your Child’s Development, and Positive Parenting – The 6 Best Things You Can Do for Your Child. This 4 – week class will be held on Fridays October 9, 16, 23, & 30th. 10 – 11:00 a.m.

Make-n-Take
Leave the kiddies home and come enjoy an evening of
making folder games. All supplies will be provided free of charge. You color and create – we’ll laminate. They will be ready to pick up several days later. 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.
